I am sorry...WHAT?!?!?! Yes..Dreamworks is actually bringing their movie How To Train Your Dragon to life...to an arena near you. I can't tell you how stoked I am about this! I tuned into a little youtubing on it and these things are beautiful! Its absolutely amazing! Start your training...

In honor of...I sketched up a little something, but now I'd like to take it home and work on it more in-depth on my tablet!

The first of many

First of many to come from the Bamboo Wacom Capture Tablet. I got to say I am rather pleased with it, for the first few hours I got to spend time navigating and trying to get a feel for using the pen and not a mouse. I have to say I am reallye excited for the things to come, using this. It really amazes me how people can create such beautiful things using this! :P

So my Wacom Tablet is coming today, I am already so eager to start grilling on this bad boy. I have been tracking it every few minutes and counting down the hours on the clock till I get to go home. (a little dramatic? Kinda.)

I will also be getting with a friend who teaches classes at the community college for Graphic/Art and start getting some pointers on prepping a portfolio.

So till then hopefully I will really start to post some things!

This bad boy is on its way!!! I am excited and nervous..I got the capture, instead of the create, because I am basically a beginner. So we shall see how I get accustom to it! I am definitely excited to just get on the ball with all thsi art stuff..woo!

Childrens illustration class Project #1: Pencil drawing

I am my own worst critic I will say though I was a lil proud of myself with how this somewhat came out. I had recently been on The Art Center blog and read up on storyboards and tips on depth and filler. I will actually say it was a great help! This is my first time doing a whole scene, Ive always just focused on characters!!! I am hoping I grow in skill with this class etc. I am really trying to take in the design for everything. I have this funny habit when I write..I write, upwards. No joke, on lined piece of paper it is sideways and I write upwards..which I do with drawing as well..I noticed that most faces I draw are lopsided...and boobs..ha

So Condrad & Steve-O, were telling me about their "brilliant" movie idea that they are both working on...after which started to sound a LOT like hunger games, except with felatio...so I asked, "oh, a porno?!" Steve-O quickly said no, but Conrad I am sure was all for it. Anyway, I drew a the main character they had briefly told me about. So...if Katniss was a dude..I guess this would be his first draft. Don't judge me! (I am at a non-artsy job....ha)

Epic Fail:

I admit it..I havent really stayed true to the Creative Daily Challenge...rawr! I thought there'd be more drawing or something..haha..anyway..Ive been working on crafty projects at home..dont get discouraged..I shall upload them soon! :D  & yea I suck at doing these Daily To-Do's hhaha

Resolutions:

I will post them soon...I am really trying to get back into the groove of art and all that accompanies it. & I feel like I have somewhat a sense of directions. I am determined to really learn and grow from those around me on finding my way back to drawing...etc. Stay classy & stay tuned!

First Post before the new year!

Hey all, this is my very first post on this blog and before the New Year! I wanted to get this on here so that I could at least say I had something! Its not that great, but hey I am learning and getting my groove...er..."drew," back...(inside suggestion by Patrick). So here's to the first of hopefully many drawings!
